whole Duckmoors gang is busy with a new picking-up season 2021/2022 so if we don’t answer mostly we are out of mobile signal somehere in the middle of nowhere I have found some time to get through the old pictures finally .. difficult situation due to corona, but we've had some nice picking up days during our season with Finn, Toffee and Lou. We were also preparing a new member of our team this year - Jazz - joined us during few day and got first experience with pheasants and ducks. I was very very pleased with her, such an easy dog, plenty of natural game-finding abilities, will to please, no problems on the runners, steady in head and she is a little hunting machine. Could not ask for more at the moment. All pictures you can find in PIcking-up Season 2020/2021 Gallery. Our picking-up season started on Saturday with ducks. Challenging weather conditions and difficult retrieves. We had only wounded ducks and long blinds, not one mark. Very happy about Finn, Toffee and Lou, especially Lou was just great today on all wounded birds, she showed huge determination and patience and really surprised me a lot ❤️ Not many pictures as the weather was really bad, but I was happy to catch one of the Lou’s retrieve where she fought really long time with one duck and “he” fought very long time with her, scratching her face, hitting her eyes, she lost him more times, but on the end Lou won! If I would have a steak there, she would get it 🙂. All pictures are in Picking-up season 2019-2020 Gallery. Both girls joined us on the ducks and pheasants this season.
