Another one of our golden girls celebrated her birthday yesterday! Happy, Happy Birthday to our lovely Neema, a dog with nine lives just like a cat. Neema, I wish you nothing but health, because your first year was truly a rollercoaster. It all started when we fought for your life at just 3 weeks old, continued with teeth surgery after you broke your big tooth, and hopefully, all your bad luck ended with your recent battle with anaplasmosis. You are truly one of a kind, an excellent spare mom to our singleton and Toffee's litter. Your dedication and time spent with the puppies is unbelievable. You’re a true golden retriever in every aspect with a super lovely character. I would not change one thing about you. I’m looking forward to many, many more adventures with you. Pity you have no siblings, as I’m sure they would be just as exceptional as you are. But I'm super grateful I have you, at least. Happy 1st Birthday, Neema!
